Walking into a church for the first time can feel like a big step. You don’t need to have everything figured out to join us.
We gather to pray, sing, hear Scripture, and discover how faith shapes the way we live throughout the week.

Join us Sundays at 10:00 AM in the sanctuary at 209 Lucas Avenue, Palacios. Sunday School usually begins at 9:00 AM. There is no Adult Sunday School on October 25; class resumes November 1.
Where should I park and enter?
There’s ample parking in the lot across the street from the church. Enter through the large wooden sanctuary doors shown in our church photo.
Is there step-free access?
Yes. Two ramps in front of the main sanctuary doors provide step-free access for visitors using wheelchairs or walkers.
What should I wear?
Wear what helps you feel comfortable. We’re glad you’re coming.
Can I bring my children?
Children stay with their families during worship. Wiggles, squeals, and little voices are welcome here—your children don’t have to sit perfectly still, and you don’t have to worry about every sound. We’re glad your family is with us! Our service also includes a children’s message.
What about Communion?
We celebrate Communion on the first Sunday of the month. You don’t have to be a member of our church to receive. Individual juice cups and a gluten-free option are available.
Can Communion be brought to me at home?
If you’re unable to join us for worship, you’re still part of our church family. We’re happy to bring Communion to you at home. Please contact Pastor Paul to arrange a visit or call 361-972-3013.

Adult Sunday School takes a week off
There will be no Adult Sunday School on October 25. Class resumes Sunday, November 1, at 9:00 AM.
Worship will meet as usual at 10:00 AM in the sanctuary.
Choir: Wednesdays at 4:00 PM
To make it easier for more people to participate, choir now meets Wednesdays from 4:00–5:00 PM in the sanctuary. Come make music with us! Contact Pastor Paul to learn about joining.
All Saints’ Day: Remembering those we love
On All Saints’ Day, we will remember with gratitude the people who have died and whose love and faith continue to shape our lives.
If you would like a loved one remembered during worship on Sunday, November 1, please send their name to Pastor Paul. They do not need to have been a member of our church.
You may email Pastor Paul or call the church office at 361-972-3013. Please include your name and the name of the person you would like remembered.

Our congregation began in 1903, gathering in a one-room schoolhouse. Generations later, we’re still learning what it means to follow Jesus and love our neighbors here in Palacios. In 2028, we’ll celebrate 125 years of ministry—and you’re invited to be part of the next chapter.
